ICT offers a professional qualification to claims technicians and the opportunity to belong to a representative group
of recognised professionals. With tiered membership, structured education courses and ongoing training, ICT is designed
to cater for practitioners involved in the claims industry.
Working in partnership with National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) -
a registered training organisation, a Certificate III level, Certificate of Attainment - Claims Management three subject course
has been developed. This course sits within the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and provides specific claims training
via an on-line learning program.
ICT also recognises the importance for professionals to stay abreast of changes and has in place a
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.

- Qualified Claims Technician (QCT)

- Use the term "Qualified Claims Technician"
- No minimum years of experience necessary
